How time flies, was it really 6 years ago that we drove through Europe to Florence, with nothing but a stash of Euros and a pocketful of Michael Caine Italian Job quotes to see us through.
The whole adventure is laid out on our aging website, some of which carbon-dating has revealed, is from the pre-Facebook era.
Plenty has changed since then, along with technology, recession and a remarkable upsurge in sporting achievement (with the exception of soccer). Another feature of modern times are the continuing exorbitant costs of fuel, hence the morphing of a thirsty Honda Type R to a less greedy and musician friendly Toyota Estate. Joining us on this "voyage of miscovery" will be Dean & Alli, whose keenness to spend two weeks crammed in an estate car with us, is close to certifiable.
Whilst our furthest destination (Florence) is the same, our route is going to be quite different this time, taking in some different countries and towns along with some old favorites.
