Go wash your German band and boat race too

We make breakfast at 9am, still an hour behind the pro-hikers and Germans but a considerable improvement that I feel earns us some Austrian Kudos.

We feel suitably recovered to take the car out today and drive to Meiders. We have expert directions from Jackie & Martin Whale, however, the adventure continues with a treasure hunt. Somewhere up this mountain, they left something for us a month ago.
The hunt is afoot!
We take a cable car up to Subai and after some wandering around and talking to cows we find the post with a red stripe on it. To the left of which is buried our prize, which Dean is pictured below holding.
After a hearty lunch of hams & cheese dumplings the time has come for the toboggan run descent. It's like a huge down hill rollercoaster monorail for one, the saving grace for the nervous is that you control the speed you travel at. A note for future travellers, use the toilet at the top as the one at the bottom has a huge queue and an unpleasant smell.

We drove on to Lake Arkansee up in the mountains for yet more stunning views. You can also take a steam train and a ferry here too, we drove here though and after some ice creams (Dean had bubblegum & marshmallow flavour) we took a boat out on the lake. In the middle of the lake, Dean switches the engine off and for a couple of minutes we experience the peace and bliss of nature.
